Panchayat Raj Minister Dansari Anasuya (Seethakka) asked Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for money to build roads in tribal and remote areas in Telangana. She met with him in New Delhi and talked about projects in Telangana that need approval. She wants the government to focus on building roads in underdeveloped tribal regions through the PMGSY program. There are 1,270 places in Telangana without road connections under PMGSY.

Seethakka also wants the government to make sure 164 Adivasi tribal areas get road connections. She asked the Forest Department to help with giving permission to build roads in these tribal regions. Chouhan promised to give money and make road construction projects go faster as a response.
