    In Nagarkurnool District’s Bijinapally mandal, shops selling seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides were inspected by the internal squad. The surprise inspection was carried out by Poornachandra Reddy, the Assistant Director of Agriculture from the District Agriculture Officer’s office.

    Various shops like Sri Gautami Seeds and Pesticides, Bhagyalakshmi Agencies, Sri Sai Traders, Dhanalakshmi Traders, Sampath Traders, Agro Rythu Seva Kendra, Coromandel International Limited, Home Sai Traders, Young Farmers Rural Development Society, and Additional Rythu Seva Kendra Bijinapally were inspected. The inspectors checked price tables, stock reports, registers, and the stock in the dealers’ shops.

    Dealers were reminded to only purchase stocks from authorized stores and were warned against selling products above the Maximum Retail Price (MRP). Fertilizer levels and pesticide licenses were also verified during the inspection. Dealers were advised to ensure all necessary certificates are in place beforehand. The inspection was attended by Ao Neethi and others.
