Police Conduct Cordon and Search Operation in Lingala Mandal

During the inspection, officials verified vehicle documents such as registration papers, number plates, insurance, and driving licences. They found that 20 vehicles did not have proper number plates. Additional SP Rameshwar instructed local SI Nagaraju to take necessary action against these violations.

He also pointed out that vehicles in Lingala Mandal are being sold at low prices without proper documentation. This could lead to financial losses for families in case of accidents, especially if the vehicles are uninsured. He reminded residents to always wear helmets while driving and to keep important documents like the registration certificate (RC), insurance papers, and driving licence up to date.

Achampet DSP Srinivasulu added that, according to the Motor Vehicles Act, only individuals aged 18 and above are allowed to drive. He highlighted the importance of wearing seat belts and ensuring that all mandatory vehicle documents are in order.

Apart from vehicle inspections, officials also addressed local land disputes. DSP Srinivasulu urged civil authorities to monitor these disputes actively instead of waiting for complaints to be filed at the police station. He suggested that complaints should be collected and resolved under the supervision of the RDO, Tasildhar, and the Collectorate to ensure timely action.
