    Hyderabad: DGP Anjani Kumar has instructed police officials to increase security at the counting centers and take necessary precautions during the vote counting on Sunday. In a teleconference with CPs and SPs on Saturday, the DGP reviewed the security measures at the counting centers. He advised strict vigilance outside and inside the centers.

    Anjani Kumar emphasized the importance of being cautious during the final rounds when excitement may arise. He stressed that no gatherings should be allowed at the counting centers and additional forces should be prepared for picketing.

    During the teleconference, police officers were instructed to coordinate with the candidates of major parties and make necessary security arrangements for a smooth process.

    Anjani Kumar expressed satisfaction that the election arrangements have been carried out without any disturbances so far. He urged CPs and SPs to ensure that these two days remain uneventful and that no law and order problems occur.
