On Children’s Day, Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Sriganesh participated in celebrations at Gaut Hill Street School in Regimental. The event also marked the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, who was lovingly called “Chacha Nehru” because of his love for children.
In his speech, MLA Sriganesh spoke about the efforts of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and his government to improve the welfare and development of children in the state. He mentioned that the Chief Minister is focused on upgrading the education system and ensuring that children excel not only in academics but also in sports.
“Children in the schools of the Cantonment Constituency are expected to succeed both academically and in sports,” Sriganesh said, promising his full support to help students achieve their ambitions.
He stressed the importance of education for securing a bright future and encouraged children to aim for greatness. He urged them to make their parents, teachers, and community proud. Additionally, he called on teachers to focus on raising not just well-educated students, but also responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
The event was attended by several Congress party leaders, including Santosh Yadav, Gauri Shankar, RD Nagesh Yadav, Nagesh Yadav, Babu Rao, and Narasimha, who joined MLA Sriganesh in celebrating Children’s Day.
