    G. Sabitha, the Secretary of the District Justice Service Authority, recently visited the Sub Jail in Nagarkurnool district on orders from the State High Court. During her surprise visit, she inspected the facilities provided to the prisoners, including the kitchen and bathrooms.

    Sabitha also spoke to the inmates about their legal rights. She assured them that if they could not afford a lawyer, one would be appointed to them free of charge by the service authority. Additionally, she directed the Jail Superintendent to ensure the cleanliness of the jail premises and kitchens.
