A cordon and search operation was conducted in Nagar Kurnool district under the orders of District SP Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath. The operation took place in Manthati village in Nagar Kurnool mandal at 4 am, supervised by Nagar Kurnool DSP Burri Srinivasulu.
Additional SP CH Rameshwar assured the public that there was no need to panic as the operation was aimed at rounding up criminals and seizing illegally operating vehicles. Three check posts were set up in the village, with 10 teams deployed to carry out the operations. A total of three Circle inspectors, 10 Sub Inspectors, and 75 policemen participated in the operation.
Rameshwar mentioned that similar operations would be organized in the district in the future as well.
