    SCR to Run Special Trains for Holi Festival

    To manage the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival, South Central Railway (SCR) will run special trains between various destinations.

    Train number 07703 (Charlapalli – Shalimar) will leave Charlapalli at 7:45 PM and reach Shalimar at 2:00 PM. This train will run on March 9 and 16. In the return direction, train number 07704 (Shalimar – Charlapalli) will depart from Shalimar at 5:00 AM and arrive at Charlapalli at 8:10 AM. This train will run on March 11 and 18.

    These trains will stop at several stations, including Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Sattenapalle, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrakh, Balasore, Jaleshwar, Kharagpur, and Santragachi in both directions.

    Another set of special trains will also be operated. Train number 07705 (Charlapalli – Santragachi) will depart from Charlapalli at 7:15 PM and reach Santragachi at 10:30 AM. This train will run on March 7 and 21. In the return journey, train number 07706 (Santragachi – Charlapalli) will leave Santragachi at 12:35 AM and reach Charlapalli at 4:40 PM. This train will run on March 8 and 22.

    These trains will stop at stations such as Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Sattenapalle, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrakh, Jaleshwar, and Kharagpur in both directions.

    All special trains will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches. Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
