    South Central Railway to Run Special Trains for Sankranti Festival

    To manage the increased travel demand during the Sankranti festival season, South Central Railway (SCR) has announced special trains between key destinations.

    One of these trains, Train No. 07615, will operate between Kacheguda and Srikakulam Road. It will depart from Kacheguda at 5:45 PM and reach Srikakulam Road at 7:35 AM on January 11 and 15. This train will stop at several stations, including Malkajgiri, Charlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Pendurti, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Chipurupalli, and Ponduru.

    Another train, Train No. 07617, will run between Charlapalli and Srikakulam Road. It will depart from Charlapalli at 7:20 PM and arrive at Srikakulam Road at 9:00 AM starting January 8. This train will also stop at the same stations as Train No. 07615.

    The special trains will feature different types of coaches to accommodate various passenger needs. Train No. 07615 will have all AC coaches, while Train No. 07617 will include first AC, second AC, third AC, sleeper, and general second-class coaches.

    Travelers are advised to plan their trips accordingly and make use of these special services during the festive season.
