    South Central Railways (SCR) has sent a team of metal cutting experts with the necessary equipment to help clear debris in the rescue operation at the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel in Nagarkurnool district, Telangana. Another group of experts will also arrive soon to assist further.

    According to SCR officials, the District Collector of Nagarkurnool requested their help in removing steel and iron debris that has been slowing down the rescue efforts. In response, SCR deployed two teams of specialists to aid in the mission.

    The second team, which includes a senior section engineer and four technicians, will soon join the first team at the site. They will work together to speed up the clearing process.

    The staff members have been sent with advanced equipment such as a plasma cutting machine, Brocho cutting machine, and a portable air compressor. Other tools include six plasma cutters, Ultra Thermic Cutting Equipment, 20 packets of electrodes, a battery, six oxygen cylinders, two welding machines, four packets of welding electrodes, helmets, and reflective jackets for safety.
