The South Central Railway (SCR) held a meeting on Tuesday to review train safety and ongoing development projects.
During the meeting, officials focused on improving safety rules and procedures. They emphasized conducting more inspections to ensure trains operate safely. They also checked the availability of fire safety equipment, such as smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
Arun Kumar Jain, the General Manager of SCR, reviewed the progress of various development projects. He discussed the removal of level crossing gates and instructed divisional managers to speed up the process.
Additionally, Jain examined the punctuality of trains in each division. He asked officials to identify trains that frequently run late and take necessary steps to improve their timing.
