    Special Trains Announced for Velankanni Festival

    The South Central Railway (SCR) has introduced special trains to manage the increased passenger demand for the Velankanni festival, coinciding with New Year celebrations. These trains will operate between Secunderabad and Velankanni.

    Train number 07125, traveling from Secunderabad to Velankanni, is scheduled to depart at 8:00 PM on December 30. It will reach Velankanni the next day at 7:30 PM. On the return journey, train number 07126 will depart from Velankanni at 11:00 PM on January 1 and arrive in Secunderabad at 10:45 PM the following day.

    The special trains will stop at several stations along the route in both directions. The stations include Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nadikudi, Sattanapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Malpakkam, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Mayiladuturai, Thiruvarur, and Nagappattinam.

    These trains will provide different types of seating and sleeping arrangements for passengers. The coaches will include 2AC, 3AC, sleeper, and general second-class options to cater to varying travel needs.

    Passengers are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and book tickets accordingly.
