The South Central Railway (SCR) organized meetings with various passenger associations from Hyderabad and Secunderabad to discuss ways to improve the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS) and suburban train services.
During the meeting, passenger representatives shared several suggestions. They talked about the need to improve punctuality, increase the number of passengers using MMTS trains, and update the Hylites app. They also suggested extending train services and adding more stops on different routes.
The passengers also requested the restoration of MMTS trains on certain routes. SCR officials responded positively to these recommendations. They assured the representatives that all suggestions would be carefully examined. The Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) promised that steps would be taken to improve train services for people in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Arun Kumar Jain, the general manager of SCR, advised the divisional officials to act quickly on the public’s needs. He emphasized that the main goal is to provide better services to rail users. Jain said that all efforts should focus on improving passenger service in the region.
