In Hyderabad, both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments are considering one-day schools due to the intense heat. The weather department’s instructions may lead to summer holidays being announced soon. Schools and colleges will have various celebrations in April, including holidays for Ugadi, Ramzan, and Sri Ramanavami.

During April 8 to April 17, schools will have four consecutive holidays along with the regular weekend break. Telangana is expected to start summer vacations from April 18 or April 20. The government had already declared a holiday on March 25 for Holi. In Telangana, the intermediate exams took place from February 28 to March 19, with around 9 lakh students participating. Now, the focus is on evaluating the answer sheets, which is progressing quickly.
