In Nagar Kurnool district, the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samiti and Sri Sai Prashanthi Charitable Seva Trust have started a free Chalivendra at the RTC Bus Stand Premises. This initiative aims to fulfill the hunger needs of travelers during the summer season, following the instructions of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The Convener of Sathya Sai Seva Samiti in Nagar Kurnool, Hakim Vishwaprasad, mentioned that they have been providing this special free service program for the past 45 years during the summer months.

It is worth noting that Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba installed a Shirdi Baba idol at the Nagar Kurnool Sai Mandir on 30th March 1979. Later on, the Nagar Kurnool Sathya Sai Seva Samiti received a unique Vinayaka idol in Telangana state from Puttaparthi. The nine zones in the Nagar Kurnool District center are currently offering free cold mineral water to passengers at the RTC bus stand daily from 9 am to 5 pm.

After conducting measurements, mineral water was served to passengers in cold pots along with glasses. Several individuals including Trust Convener Elime Iswaraiah, V. Balakrishna, Gandham Swamy, Sriramulu, Panduranga Reddy, Venkat Shetty, Lakshman, Manyapureddy, and others participated in the program alongside Sai Services Incharge, Sathya Sai Devotees, Balavikas students, and travelers.
