Samagra Shiksha Employees' Strike Enters 19th Day

The indefinite strike by Samagra Shiksha employees in Gadwal has reached its 19th day. The protesting employees gathered near Smriti Vanam, demanding the government fulfill promises made by Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy. Their primary demands include the regularization of all Samagra Shiksha employees and the implementation of pay scales until regularization is achieved.

    B. Nagaseshanna, a School Assistant from ZPHS Kodumur in Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, expressed strong support for the strike. He emphasized that the demands of the employees are legitimate and in line with the Supreme Court’s ruling on “equal pay for equal work.” He also reminded the government of its authority to issue and amend orders (GOs) to address these concerns. Nagaseshanna extended his solidarity from Andhra Pradesh and urged the Telangana government to respond to the employees’ just demands.
