    Minister Konda Surekha announced that the salaries of temple priests, pastors, Imams, and Maulanas will be increased. She made this statement while distributing clothes to poor Christians in Warangal. She emphasized that the Congress party treats all religions equally.

    Surekha’s main focus is on the development of the Warangal East constituency, where she was elected as an MLA. In her previous term from 2014 to 2018, she allocated Rs 400 crore for the development of Warangal. She assured the people that she will continue to work on developmental projects in the area.

    Surekha also mentioned that the government is prepared to raise the salaries of temple priests, pastors, Imams, and Maulanas to Rs 12,000 per month. She stated that the Congress party is committed to fulfilling all its promises and addressing the issues faced by the people.

    During the Christmas celebrations, Surekha participated in special prayers along with other officials, including Warangal district collector P Pravinya and several corporators.
