Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy has called for grand celebrations across Telangana State to mark its decennial formation day. The preparations for the celebrations were discussed at a meeting held in Rangareddy district, with the minister urging MLAs to organise large-scale programmes in their constituencies. She stressed the importance of collaboration between public representatives and officials to ensure the success of the celebrations, which will take place from June 2 to June 22. The festivities will include financial aid to caste professionals, distribution of agricultural land rights, provision of livestock and nutrition kits, and the launch of the Haritha Haram programme.
The minister also highlighted the progress made in education across the state, with a focus on positive changes in schools. Essay writing, painting, and song competitions will be organised for students, and inauguration ceremonies for schools, libraries, and digital classrooms will be held throughout the state. Textbooks, notebooks, and uniforms will be distributed on June 20. The government’s welfare schemes, including Rythu Bandhu, Raitu Bhima, pensions, Shadi Mubarak, Kalyana Lakshmi, and fisheries initiatives, should be widely publicised.
