    Minister Announces Implementation of Rythu Bharosa Scheme After Sankranti

    Minister for Major Irrigation and Civil Supplies, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, has announced that the Rythu Bharosa scheme will be implemented after Sankranti. This initiative is aimed at bringing joy and financial support to farmers. The minister shared this update on Sunday while laying the foundation for development works worth ₹18.57 crore in Nereducharla town and mandal, located in Suryapet district. He emphasized that the Congress government’s ultimate goal is to bring happiness to the lives of farmers.

    While addressing the media, the minister highlighted key achievements of the government during its first year in office. These include free bus travel for women, free electricity for up to 200 units, and LPG cylinders priced at ₹500. He also mentioned that the Congress government had waived off the highest amount of crop loans in the country.

    Criticizing opposition parties, Uttam Kumar Reddy accused them of being unable to accept the success of the government’s initiatives. He claimed that their frustration was evident as they struggled to counter the positive impact of the government’s schemes.

    The minister further announced that ₹2,500 crore had been allocated for the Rythu Bharosa scheme. Under this program, farmers will receive ₹12,000 per acre annually, providing much-needed financial assistance to support their agricultural activities.
