    The State government in Hyderabad announced that 92.68% of farmers have received payments under the Rythu Bandhu scheme, totaling over Rs 5,575 crores for the Rabi season.

    According to Agriculture department officials, as of March 28, a total of 64,75,320 farmers have been credited with Rythu Bandhu money. Payments have been completed for all farmers with less than five acres of land. The assistance was received for a total of 11,49,534 acres during the Rabi season.

    There are 22,24,870 farmers with one acre of land, 17,72,675 farmers with two acres, 11,30,788 farmers with three acres, 6,54,419 farmers with four acres, and 4,92,568 farmers with five acres. The government has made payments to nearly 80% of farmers within the first hundred days, starting from one acre up to five acres.

    Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has stated that there will be no Rythu Bandhu for mounds, hills, roads, and ventured lands. He has directed the Agriculture Department to ensure all deserving farmers benefit from the scheme without any misuse of government funds. The government plans to implement the Rythu Bharosa scheme soon in place of Rythu Bandhu as promised before the elections.
