RWAs seek redressal of long-pending issues from party leaders before Malkajgiri Parliamentary Constituency elections

Residents of Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency are meeting with state political party leaders and MP candidates to address issues like infrastructure and road connectivity. The citizens want their concerns included in the candidates’ parliamentary manifestos.

The citizens of Malkajgiri have been facing problems with inadequate infrastructure for years, including roads, public transportation, and basic amenities. Key candidates for Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency are BJP’s Eatala Rajender, Congress’ Patnam Sunitha Mahender Reddy, and BRS’ Ragidi Laxma Reddy. They are actively engaging with locals to address their needs.

The citizens’ manifestos focus on projects like the construction of a double-decker corridor, improved MMTS Phase II, Metro corridors for better connectivity, and the construction of pending Road over Bridges (ROBs) and Road under Bridges (RUBs). Traffic congestion is a major issue in Greater Hyderabad, causing inconvenience to commuters.

Residents welfare associations have prepared a citizens’ manifesto to highlight the neglected issues in Malkajgiri constituency. They are urging political parties to prioritize these concerns in their manifestos. Despite being the largest parliamentary constituency, Malkajgiri has seen limited development in the past decade.

Residents like Robin Zaccheus are concerned about the lack of progress in important projects like RK Puram Bridge and MMTS. They are calling for improvements to infrastructure and transportation in Malkajgiri constituency.
