The Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Hyderabad successfully recovered stolen property worth ₹71.26 lakh as part of ‘Operation Yatri Suraksha.’
According to RPF officials, they arrested 34 offenders and registered 30 cases related to theft. Their efforts led to the recovery of stolen property, reinforcing security measures for railway passengers.
In addition to this, RPF launched several other operations in January. Under ‘Operation Amanat,’ RPF helped passengers retrieve lost belongings. A total of 264 items, valued at ₹60.80 lakh, were found and returned to their rightful owners.
Another initiative, ‘Operation Nanhe Farishte,’ focused on rescuing children who were lost or separated from their families. RPF successfully rescued 91 children, including 70 boys and 21 girls. These children were safely handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) for further care and support.
