    A road accident in Hyderabad resulted in the death of a circle inspector from the State Excise Department and left an assistant sub-inspector injured. The accident took place in L B Nagar when a car driving in the wrong direction collided with the police officials who were on a motorcycle.

    The incident occurred late at night near the Ranga Reddy district court in the L B Nagar area. Sadiq Ali, the circle inspector from Charminar excise, was killed instantly while Khwaja Wali Moinuddin, an assistant sub-inspector from the same police station, sustained injuries. Both officers were returning home after attending an event in LB Nagar. The driver of the car fled the scene and left behind the vehicle. The police have filed a case and are currently searching for the driver who fled.
