Gadwal: In the Palamuru district, 13 out of 14 constituencies have MLAs and leaders from the ruling party who have successfully brought various government offices and basic facilities to their regions. However, according to District BJP President S Ramachandra Reddy, the Congress Party leaders in Nadigadda are not showing the same level of interest in improving their area.

During a press conference on Saturday, Reddy claimed that the Chief Minister, Revanth Reddy, was giving more attention to his hometown, Kodangal, while neglecting other towns. He pointed out that Kodangal has received a government engineering college, a medical college, a women’s degree college, and Rs 4,000 crores for development. In contrast, the MLA of Gadwal was able to secure a 300-bed hospital, a nursing college, and a BC women’s degree college for Dharur.

Reddy expressed concern over unresolved issues in Alampur. He highlighted the need for junior colleges and KGBV schools in new mandals, a Primary Health Center (PHC) in Undavalli mandal, as well as better infrastructure for the 100-bed hospital at Alampur Chowrasta. He also mentioned the need for a degree college, a girls’ hostel, and a junior civil court in Aija town.

In addition, Reddy pointed out that Alampur requires a new bus depot, yet development is being delayed. He blamed both the ruling party leaders and opposition MLAs for holding back progress due to rivalry or resentment over election outcomes.

According to Reddy, the people of Alampur are suffering because no one seems to be addressing their needs. Local leaders are now urging the MLA, MLC, and other ruling party leaders to stop their disagreements and focus on developing the constituency.
