Income Tax officials in Miryalaguda, Nalgonda have resumed their operations targeting five prominent mills in the area. Unlike previous raids, the officials are directly focusing on the mills themselves rather than the residences of the millers. Six teams of IT officers are examining the records and transactions of these mills, specifically looking into the purchase records from banks.

Miryalaguda is known for its rice mills and this second wave of IT raids has shocked the milling community. The officials are not deterred by the previous raids conducted during the Assembly Elections campaign on November 16. They have intensified their scrutiny and targeted mills in Shettipalem, Sagar Road, as well as the residences of three millers for a three-day investigation.
