The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police are investigating a theft case after a family reported losing around 350 grams of gold jewellery from their luggage. Manchi Kutla Hari Sagar, a businessman from Khajaguda, filed a complaint on behalf of his sister-in-law and mother, who had valuables including gold and diamond jewellery stolen from their luggage. The family had arrived at RGIA to catch a flight to Mumbai on May 3, planning to travel to New York the next day.

Upon reaching New York, they discovered that a bag containing gold and silver items had been tampered with, and three of the boxes were found empty. Sagar suspected foul play at the airport and lodged a complaint with the RGIA police station, urging them to take action. A case was registered under Section 379 of the IPC, and an investigation is currently underway.
