Ramagundam: The Director of the Ministry of Fertilizers, Harihara Prasad, visited the Ramagundam Fertilizers Chemical Limited factory on Monday. During the visit, he inspected the main control unit, bagging unit, and dispatch parts of the factory. Antharam also held a meeting with RFCL officials from the production, transportation, and marketing departments.
Harihara stated that the RFCL factory, which was ambitiously built by the Central government for domestic fertilizer production, should aim to exceed the production target of 12.70 lakh metric tons in the year 2023-24. He assured that the Central government will always provide support to the factory in terms of production and transportation.
RFCL will play a crucial role in supplying timely and sufficient urea to Telangana and neighboring states. The Central government plans to take steps to increase the plant’s production capacity in the future. Additionally, the RFCL plant has already generated a profit (PAT) of Rs 86.52 crore in the first three months (April-June) of the financial year 2023-24.
The program was attended by RFCL CGM Sudhir Kumar Jha, GM – O&M – Uday Rajahamsa, and officials from the production, marketing, and transportation departments.
