During the meeting, Reddy stressed the importance of addressing complaints related to drinking water supply and water pollution as a top priority. He also highlighted the need for proactive measures to prevent sewage overflow on roads. Reddy emphasized the prompt removal of silt from overflowing manholes and the quick reconstruction of damaged manholes, along with the immediate installation of new covers.
In addition to discussing sewage management, Reddy also reviewed the progress of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs). He urged for the completion of STPs that are nearing their final stages and to make them operational as soon as possible.
