Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized the BJP government for not fulfilling its promises made during the state’s bifurcation. He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have not shared their achievements or made any new commitments during their recent visit to Telangana. He compared their visit to that of ‘Sankranti bulls’ coming to the state.
During a public meeting in Tandoor, CM Revanth Reddy urged people to hold the BJP accountable by voting them out. He called those who exploit religion for votes as ‘Hindu traitors’ and criticized the Saffron party for failing to deliver on their promises and inciting hatred among people. He emphasized that faith should remain in the hearts of people and not be manipulated for political gains.
CM Revanth Reddy also stated that the current political scenario is a battle between ‘Modi’s parivar’ and ‘Rahul’s parivar’. He highlighted the strength and support within ‘Rahul’s parivar’, including the Gandhi family members who have sacrificed for the party. He claimed that Congress workers across the country are part of ‘Rahul’s parivar’.
During a campaign event with Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Kamareddy, CM Revanth Reddy criticized former Siddipet Collector Venkatram Reddy, who is contesting as a candidate. He accused Venkatram Reddy of having amassed wealth in Tellapur and suggested that his victory would only serve his personal interests at the expense of the constituency’s people. He questioned Venkatram Reddy’s motives for running for office and suggested that his nomination was influenced by other factors.
In a separate event in Patancheru, CM Revanth Reddy continued his criticism of Venkatram Reddy, alleging that the former bureaucrat had little to lose by running for office. He pointed out that Venkatram Reddy had already gained significant wealth and status as an MLC appointed by KCR. He questioned the sincerity of Venkatram Reddy’s candidacy and suggested that it was driven by personal gain rather than a genuine desire to serve the constituency.
