    Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge welcomed Rajya Sabha MP K Kesha Rao as he joined Congress in the presence of Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy in New Delhi.

    In Hyderabad, discussions are still ongoing in New Delhi regarding the appointment of a new PCC president and the expansion of the state cabinet. The AICC is expected to make a final announcement in a day or two. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is eager for these announcements to be made before July 6, when the month of Ashadam begins.

    AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, along with other party leaders, had a two-hour discussion on the proposals submitted by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Meanwhile, former BRS leader K Keshava Rao rejoined the Congress in New Delhi. Aspirants from the BC, SC, and ST communities are lobbying for the position of PCC president, while others are vying for a spot in the state cabinet.
