Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated the annual ‘Numaish’ exhibition in Hyderabad. The event will run for 46 days and will conclude on February 15, 2024. The Chief Minister praised Numaish as an important symbol of Hyderabad’s identity. He also promised support for the educational institutions run by the exhibition society and expressed the government’s commitment to enhancing the Hyderabad brand image. This year, the exhibition has set up 2,500 stalls and has not increased ticket prices. The organisers are expecting a large number of visitors due to the free travel facility for women in RTC buses. Face masks have been made compulsory at the event due to the Covid-19 situation. The exhibition is expected to attract around 25 lakh people this year. Numaish timings are from 4 pm to 10.30 pm on weekdays and have been extended by 30 minutes on weekends and holidays. ‘Women’s Day’ will be on January 9 and ‘Children’s Special Day’ will be on January 31. The Hyderabad Metro will also extend its services during the Numaish exhibition.
