Revanth Reddy Criticizes PM Modi, Vows to Protect Constitution

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asserting that any attempts to alter the Indian Constitution will ultimately fail. His remarks came during the launch of the nationwide campaign ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan’ in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, the birthplace of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, on Monday.

Revanth compared Modi’s efforts to change the Constitution to the repeated raids of Mahmud of Ghazni on India. He alleged that the Prime Minister is using all the power at his disposal to achieve this goal. “Modi is relentlessly trying to alter the Constitution, much like how Ghazni Mahmud repeatedly attempted to loot India. However, just as Mahmud’s efforts could not destroy India’s spirit, Modi’s attempts to change the Constitution will not succeed,” he declared.

The Chief Minister also labeled the BJP as the “British Janata Party,” drawing parallels between the Congress party’s legacy and the independence movement led by Mahatma Gandhi. He credited Rahul Gandhi for standing firm against attempts to alter the Constitution, claiming, “Rahul Gandhi represents the Gandhi Parivar, while Modi represents the Godse Parivar. It was Rahul Gandhi who foresaw Modi’s agenda and stopped him from changing the Constitution.”

Revanth Reddy emphasized that the nation is now divided between those who seek to protect the Constitution and those who wish to change it. “This is not just an election campaign; it is a battle to safeguard the Constitution against forces aiming to dismantle it,” he stated passionately.

The rally was attended by several prominent leaders, including Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, PCC chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC secretary S.A. Sampath Kumar, and Rajya Sabha MP M. Anil Kumar Yadav, along with other key members from the state.
