Telangana PCC president, A Revanth Reddy, has submitted a memorandum to DGP Anjani Kumar requesting security for national party leaders during their visit to Hyderabad for the CWC meeting on October 16 and 17.

Reddy also mentioned plans for a “VijayaBheri Sabha” on October 17 and asked for police cooperation for the large public meeting. He accused BRS and BJP leaders of creating obstacles for the meeting at Parade Grounds and announced a change in venue to Tukkuguda in greater Hyderabad limits.

Reddy criticized Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his alleged conspiracy politics to disrupt the CWC meeting and public gathering. He demanded a thorough investigation into the suicide of home guard Ravinder, claiming it was a result of the government’s negligence towards addressing the long-standing demands of struggling home guards. Reddy called for the filing of an FIR against the officials responsible and urged the government to provide a job to Ravinder’s wife and Rs 25 lakh assistance to the family.
