Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit Kalvakurthi on Sunday. He will participate in several important events from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The Chief Minister will travel to Kalvakurthi by helicopter and attend a memorial service for the late Congress leader Jaipal Reddy at the BSNL premises.
During his visit, CM Revanth Reddy will unveil a bronze statue of former Union Minister Sudini Jaipal Reddy at Kotra Circle on the Srisailam Highway. He will be joined by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and Ministers Damodara Rajanarsimha and Jupalli Krishna Rao for the ceremony at Veldanda Mandal, near Kotra Gate.
The Chief Minister will also speak at a public meeting organized at the BSNL ground. Congress party officials expect around 25,000 people to attend. Earlier on Sunday morning, tributes will be paid to Jaipal Reddy at Necklace Road in Hyderabad.
Residents of Kalvakurthi are hopeful about the visit. They expect Chief Minister Reddy to address important regional issues like the KLI D-82 canal, the completion of pending sub-canals, overdue land loss compensation, and the establishment of a 100-bed hospital. The local community looks forward to discussing these critical matters with the Chief Minister during his visit.
