Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy, along with government officials, launched the ‘Mahalaxmi Scheme’ and ‘Gruha Jyoti’ schemes at the Telangana Secretariat. These initiatives were promised during the election campaign to help the people of Telangana. The government is committed to fulfilling these promises for the welfare of the people.
The schemes will only be available to those registered with the Praja Palana. Under the Mahalakshmi scheme, a subsidized gas cylinder will cost Rs. 500, and 200 units of free electricity will be provided to light up homes for the underprivileged.
Despite financial challenges, the government is determined to fulfill the six guarantees promised by Sonia Gandhi. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka stressed the importance of these schemes and clarified any misinformation, especially about free electricity.
Government officials emphasized the significance of these schemes as examples for the country. They are dedicated to overcoming obstacles and ensuring the successful implementation of these initiatives. They urged the public to ignore false information and assured that the government is focused on improving people’s lives in Telangana through these programs.
