Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated a new 11 km-long elevated corridor on Rajiv Road in Secunderabad. The event took place near Alwal Tims (TIMS) and was attended by various ministers and MLAs. This project aims to improve connectivity for travelers heading from Hyderabad to Siddipet, Karimnagar, Adilabad, and Nizamabad.
The elevated corridor, with 6 lanes, is set to cost Rs. 2,232 crores. CM Revanth believes that once completed, this corridor will boost development in the Medchal area and make it easier to reach nearby regions like Quthbullapur, Karimnagar, and Adilabad. During his speech, he expressed frustration over the delays in the project due to past conflicts between central and state governments.
CM Revanth also mentioned the government’s collaboration with the defense department to resolve land issues and lease renewals. He sees the elevated corridor as a key factor in the growth of North Telangana and emphasized the government’s dedication to improving infrastructure in the city. He assured continuous efforts towards development and expressed willingness to work with the center for support.
In conclusion, CM Revanth stressed the importance of constructive dialogue and cooperation for Hyderabad’s overall development. He highlighted the government’s focus on achieving development goals and improving infrastructure without getting caught up in political disputes.
