The Telangana Congress chief, Revanth Reddy, expressed his displeasure over Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting took place while State Congress leaders were holding a silent protest in Telangana over the Surat court’s sentencing of Rahul Gandhi for two years. Revanth Reddy stated that he would take the matter seriously and discuss it with party president Malikarjun Kharge. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had met with the Prime Minister to discuss various issues in Bhuvanagiri Parliament Constituency, including the extension of the Hyderabad Metro Rail from LB Nagar to Hayat Nagar.
