The President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, A Revanth Reddy, has condemned the disqualification of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha as an ‘evil act’. According to Reddy, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to prevent discussion of the Adani scam in Parliament, which was the primary reason for Rahul’s disqualification. Reddy also alleged that the country was facing an undeclared emergency and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was acting like a dictator.

Reddy praised Rahul Gandhi for exposing the government’s failures during his padayatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. He accused Modi of being unable to digest Rahul’s criticism and of being restless ever since Rahul demanded in Parliament that a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) be constituted to investigate the affairs of Adani companies.
