    Hyderabad Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed his satisfaction about his recent meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers in New Delhi. He believes that having a positive attitude and good communication with the Central Government can benefit Telangana in many ways.

    Revanth Reddy mentioned that it is important to separate politics from administration. He gave an example of how an appeal to the Prime Minister resulted in the inclusion of Telangana tableaux in the Republic Day parade, even though the selection had been made months ago. He also noted that a similar request from the Karnataka government was not accepted.

    During his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Revanth Reddy requested the sanctioning of 29 IPS officers. Shah agreed to sanction 10 officers once the new batch graduates and asked for a proposal for the remaining officers. The Chief Minister also shared that the Union Finance Minister assured him that proposals to raise funds through loans would be considered.

    Revanth Reddy emphasized that the state government would be proactive in addressing State interests. He mentioned plans to establish a commission to study district delimitation, as well as considering the formation of a corporation to handle farmers’ loans. The government is also in negotiations with bankers. The Chief Minister expects all nominated and chairpersons’ posts to be filled by the end of January.

    In response to criticism from the BRS party regarding Rytu Bandhu, Revanth Reddy stated that 25 lakh farmers have already received the benefit since his government took office. He urged the BRS party to have patience and gather accurate information before criticizing the government.
