Hyderabad: TPCC president Revanth Reddy has challenged the ruling BRS party leaders to have a discussion about who built and maintained the Nagarjuna Sagar project. He strongly countered the BRS leaders, urging them to look at the history and see what the Congress has accomplished. Former minister A Chandrasekhar and his supporters joined the Congress party in the presence of Revanth Reddy and AICC in-charge Manikrao Thakre at Gandhi Bhavan in the city. Revanth Reddy and Manikrao Thakre welcomed Chandrasekhar into the party.
During his address to the party members, Revanth Reddy stated that Chandrasekhar played a crucial role in the achievement of Telangana and assured him a suitable place in the Congress party.
Revanth Reddy criticized the nine years of BRS party rule, stating that Telangana has become a graveyard under their leadership. He mentioned that Telangana is currently the number one state in the country, but it also has the highest number of belt shops, with 60,000 in total. He accused KCR of looting Rs 2,500 crore through tenders for wine shops.
