Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao for trying to paint a rosy picture of his 10-year rule, despite the state facing collapse in the last four months. He accused KCR of distorting facts to gain sympathy during the upcoming elections.
During a meeting in Rajendranagar, as part of his roadshow supporting party candidate Gaddam Ranjith Reddy, Revanth highlighted that the Congress party is presenting its report card on the achievements made in the last four months. He compared KCR’s behavior to that of a cat going on a pilgrimage after killing a hundred mice. He also criticized KCR for not being accessible to common people while in power.
Revanth pointed out that KCR’s recent actions, like fielding Kasani Gnaneshwar Mudiraj from Chevella, indicate a secret understanding between BRS and BJP. He accused KCR of trying to secure bail for his daughter by supporting the BJP. Revanth also criticized BJP for playing communal politics and called on Vishweshwar Reddy to clarify his stance on religious issues.
The Chief Minister further likened the Modi government’s actions to betrayal, describing NaMo as ‘Namminchi Mosam cheyyadam’ (Betrayal after inducing). He drew parallels between the Modi government’s actions and those of the British East India Company in the past.
