BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has warned...

TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy has challenged BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to declare that he will contest the next Assembly elections from Gajwel Assembly Constituency. This is where the CM was elected in the 2018 election, and Reddy wants all the sitting MLAs to be party candidates for the upcoming elections. According to survey reports, over 80 sitting MLAs are facing public dissatisfaction and would lose if given party tickets.

Reddy is calling on the BRS leadership to prove their “masculinity” by announcing all sitting MLAs as party candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections. If they fail to do so, he indirectly refers to them as “neither male nor female.” Additionally, Reddy is demanding an open debate on the supply of 24-hour power to the farming sector. He challenges BRS senior leaders KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao to decide the venue for this debate.

Reddy alleges that out of the 16,000 crore rupees allotted for free power every year, 8,000 crore rupees are being misused by the BRS top leadership. He calls on the Chief Minister to make public the details of the supply of free power to agriculture round the clock. Reddy claims that the government is only providing power to farmers for up to 8 hours, while influential leaders in the government ensure adequate power supply to their own farms. This leaves small and marginal farmers at a disadvantage.
