    Revanth prepares weapons to face opposition in CM role

    Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of Hyderabad has asked all state departments to prepare reports on their progress over the past six months. This is in preparation for the upcoming budget session of the state Assembly. Additionally, he has called for a strategy to be finalized for the debate in the Assembly.

    To improve district administration, Revanth will hold a meeting with District Collectors, SPs, and Police Commissioners of major cities on July 16 in Hyderabad. Nine important subjects will be discussed at this conference, focusing on hastening the implementation of welfare schemes, development programs, and addressing people’s grievances promptly.

    The main agenda for the Collectors’ conference includes discussions on Praja Palana, Dharani, seasonal agricultural conditions, seasonal diseases in health, Vana Mahotsavam, Mahila Shakthi, Education, Law and Order, Security-related issues, and the anti-drug campaign. Officials have been directed to attend with relevant information.

    Revanth wants a presentation on the ground reality of scheme implementation, hurdles faced in executing sanctioned works, and progress made in the last six months. He also instructed officials on increasing tax collections and addressing challenges faced in revenue collection targets.

    In the meeting, details of the farm loan waiver and farmers’ information will be shared. The Chief Minister will present a report on his government’s performance based on official data to counter Opposition allegations regarding unfulfilled election promises. The BRS is planning to criticize the government for failing to implement its poll promises.
