Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized the BJP’s ‘400 plus slogan’ while campaigning in Wayanad, Kerala. He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of only remembering South India during elections to seek votes.

Revanth expressed doubt that the BJP, under Modi’s leadership, would succeed for a third consecutive term. He questioned why Modi had not focused on South India earlier and accused him of only remembering the region for votes. The Chief Minister also highlighted that South Indian leaders within the BJP were not given key positions in the government and that the region did not receive the financial allocations it deserved.

According to Revanth, the BJP has no right to seek votes in the South as the party has been involved in what he called legal corruption. He alleged that leaders like Pinarayi Vijayan were working with PM Modi and claimed that South India has banned the BJP from receiving votes.

Revanth expressed confidence that Rahul Gandhi would become the next Prime Minister of India. He criticized the BJP’s reliance on electronic voting machines (EVMs) and questioned their refusal to conduct elections through ballot paper like other countries do. The Chief Minister stated that both he and the people have lost faith in EVMs, while only the BJP still believes in them.
