Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was deeply moved by the condition of a young student named Rakesh, who has been suffering from a rare muscle disease called Pseudo Muscular Dystrophy. Due to poverty, Rakesh has not been able to receive proper medical treatment. Showing kindness, the Chief Minister immediately ordered officials to provide him with the necessary medical care.
Along with medical treatment, the Chief Minister also instructed officials to arrange a charging vehicle for Rakesh, as he is unable to walk due to his condition. Following these orders, the Chief Minister’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Vemula Srinivasulu, spoke to Rakesh’s family over the phone and assured them of full government support.
Rakesh, who lives in Rangayya Palli village in Bhimadevarapalli mandal of Hanamkonda district, has been suffering from Muscular Dystrophy for a long time. His condition has worsened, making it difficult for him to walk. Doctors have recommended regular doses of expensive injections to improve his health.
The Chief Minister took action after reading a news article about Rakesh’s struggles. Rakesh is currently studying in the first year of Intermediate at a private college in Mulkanoor. To help him travel between his hometown and the college, the government will provide him with a charging vehicle.
