Telangana PCC president A Revanth Reddy is trying to convince ticket aspirants who are unlikely to get it and may rebel against the party leadership in the upcoming Assembly elections. He has managed to pacify AICC leader Vamsichand Reddy and gain his approval to give the party ticket to Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, who recently joined the party, to contest from Kalwakurthy constituency. Revanth, Vamsichand Reddy, and Kasireddy met with AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi to resolve the ticket issue. They plan to bring more ticket aspirants to Delhi and offer them important positions in exchange for their support after the party comes to power.
In other news, Medchal DCC president N Sridhar left the party after BRS legislator Mynampally Hanumantha Rao joined Congress and was promised a party ticket. Revanth is taking quick action to prevent similar embarrassing incidents in the party when the candidates list for the Assembly elections is announced.
Revanth also claimed that BRS and BJP have made a secret political agreement for the Lok Sabha elections in order to defeat the party. He accused the BJP-led Centre of protecting corrupt BRS leaders. Revanth stated that while Adani controls the BJP, KCR is influenced by AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. He emphasized that the Congress is dedicated to the welfare of the people.
