The Congress party in Hyderabad plans to file a complaint with the Election Commission, alleging that some IAS officers are misusing their positions to support BRS. PCC Chief A Revanth Reddy made this statement during a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan. He accused the officials of releasing funds in violation of the Model Code of Conduct. The Congress is currently gathering information on police, IAS, revenue, and other officers who are supporting BRS. They will form a special committee to identify these individuals and file a formal complaint against them for abusing their power.
Revanth also took a jab at Minister K T Rama Rao, calling his father and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao a “tiger” and referring to his family as “man-eaters”. He mentioned that the selection process for Congress candidates is still ongoing and that final decisions will be made after careful consideration of all factors. He urged the media to be patient and not report on candidate selections that have not yet been finalized.
Regarding the Bus Yatra, Revanth stated that a decision will be made based on the suggestions of the national leadership. There are two options being considered: announcing the candidates before starting the Yatra or announcing them as the Yatra progresses.
