The PCC chief, A Revanth Reddy, emphasized the importance of the party manifesto. He stated that the BRS leadership is scared because the Congress is successfully delivering its message. The manifesto was prepared with the unfulfilled aspirations of the people in mind. It serves as a measure for the public to judge the party. The goal is not just to gain power, but to connect with the people and initiate change. This has frightened the BRS and KCR knows his party is losing power.
Reddy compared the rule of the BRS family to the autocratic rule of the Nizams. He stated that the people are ready to teach KCR a lesson for undermining their aspirations after the hard-fought Telangana. The situation in the state requires mobilization. The people of Telangana are prepared to teach KCR a lesson like they did with the Nizams.
Reddy accused KCR of spreading false propaganda about electricity shortages if the Congress comes to power. He pointed out that KCR relies on purchasing electricity from Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh because he is incapable of generating it himself. Reddy also accused KCR of buying power from private companies at a high cost.
Regarding the BJP’s promise to have an OBC CM, Reddy reminded everyone of how the party lost deposits in over 100 seats in the last elections. He mentioned that only one out of ten BJP-ruled states has an OBC CM.
