A Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister, spoke at a public meeting in Manukota (Mahabubabad), a stronghold for the Congress party. He mentioned that the Congress, along with other groups, is working together to remove the BJP from power at the national level. Reddy criticized both the BJP and BRS for neglecting the development of Mahabubabad and failing to establish a steel plant in Bayyaram.
Revanth also highlighted the close relationship between Modi and KCR, accusing them of supporting each other despite their differences. He criticized the Centre for not fulfilling promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act-2014, such as establishing a tribal university in Mulugu. He also mentioned Modi’s insensitive comments about Telangana’s formation.
The Chief Minister accused KCR of making deals with Modi to protect his daughter from scandal and alleged that the BRS would support the BJP in certain Lok Sabha elections. He emphasized that KCR’s attempts to overthrow the Congress government in Telangana would not succeed.
Revanth promised to address issues such as job vacancies and crop loans if his party wins, urging people to vote for Porika Balaram Naik. Other officials present at the meeting included Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and Advisor to the Chief Minister Vem Narender Reddy.
