Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for reform to help Pakistan break out of a cycle of debt repayments. In an interview with the Financial Times, Khan stated that the government needs to break out of borrowing cycles that have held back developing economies. He also ruled out a default if his party returned to power, saying it would prioritize domestic reforms over seeking debt relief.
